Your information.
Your choices.
REAT Global (Pty) Ltd is responsible for the information collected through this website. Contact us at Info@reat-global.com about your information, to withdraw a request or to exercise your privacy rights.
Requesting a service brochure
When you request a brochure, we collect your email address, the time of your request, the page you requested it from and a record of the one-off permission you gave. Our authorised team uses this to send the brochure personally and record that it was sent. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list.
Your permission is specific to this request. You can withdraw it by emailing us before we send the brochure. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place. You can explore our services online without giving us an email address or accepting analytics.
Brochure requests are removed from the active website inbox after 90 days, with an hourly cleanup. You can request earlier deletion. Copies in business email and backups are separate from this inbox; contact us so we can address those copies too.
Cookies, storage and analytics
Optional analytics are off by default in every region, including when your region is unknown. We do not infer your location to weaken this protection. Rejecting optional analytics is as easy as accepting them, and you can change your choice at any time.
- Essential preference: the first-party
reat_privacycookie records your choice and its expiry for 180 days. It contains no unique visitor ID. It is set when you save a choice. - Brochure popup preference: session storage remembers when you dismiss or complete the brochure popup so it does not automatically interrupt you again in the same tab. It contains no email address and is not used for analytics.
- Admin sign-in: session storage holds the admin authentication token for the tab. This is necessary for the requested admin service, not advertising.
- Optional analytics: after you agree, we count pages, section views and selected interactions on our own server. A daily rotating hash derived from IP address and browser information estimates daily visitors in memory. The analytics store keeps aggregate counts for up to 400 days; it does not save raw IP addresses or a cross-day visitor history. Withdrawing permission stops future collection; existing aggregate counts cannot be linked back to an individual for deletion.
- Privacy signals: Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track disable optional analytics, even if you previously allowed them. This site does not use advertising pixels or sell or share information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Service providers and external content
Our hosting infrastructure processes network requests to deliver and secure the site. Operational security logs are separate from optional audience analytics. Public-page fonts and site libraries are served locally. Interactive maps connect to OpenStreetMap only when you choose to load a map or search for an address; that provider receives your IP address and map or search requests. Links to external websites open services with their own privacy practices.
Authorised staff and service providers supporting hosting and business email may process information to deliver the requested service. Such services may involve processing outside your country. Contact us for the applicable provider, location and transfer arrangements for your request.
Job applications
When you apply for a job, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the town you are based in, any link you give us, your cover note and your CV, together with the time of your application, the position and a record of the permission you gave. Authorised REAT Global staff involved in recruitment use this only to assess your application and contact you about it. If you tick the optional box, we may also consider you for other suitable roles during the retention period.
Please do not include identity numbers, health information, or information about race, religion or criminal history in your application. If we need such information at a later stage of recruitment, we will ask for it separately and explain why.
Applications and CVs are stored privately on our hosting server, not on the public website, and are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive. You can withdraw your application or ask for earlier deletion at any time by emailing us with your application reference. If you join REAT Global, the information becomes part of your employment record, which has separate retention rules.
Other enquiries and project information
Contact and quote requests are used to respond to your enquiry and assess the work you ask about. Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is needed for your request. Project, contractual and statutory records have separate business retention requirements; the 90-day brochure rule does not apply to those records.
Your rights, wherever you visit from
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request proportionately. We will not make access to the brochure conditional on optional tracking.
- South Africa: POPIA rights include access, correction and objection. You may contact the Information Regulator.
- EEA and UK: where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may exercise the rights above and complain to your local supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner.
- United States: rights vary by state and the applicability of state laws. We honour GPC as an opt-out signal and also disable optional analytics when it is present. Contact us about access, correction, deletion or an appeal of a request decision.
- Other regions: the same opt-in controls apply. Contact us to exercise the rights available under your local law.
